I’m Ellie, an in-home lactation consultant serving Denver & the surrounding areas.

Expert Care For You and Your Little Gift

My goal is to take the guesswork out of nursing and feeding your baby, so you can spend less time worrying and more time bonding.

From the NICU to your
living room.

My path here began as a registered nurse in Level IV NICUs: the highest level of newborn intensive care, where I cared for the smallest, sickest, most fragile babies. Helping babies thrive was the job, and I loved it.

But what surprised me was how much I loved helping the parents too. Watching a mom or dad walk into the NICU fearful and overwhelmed and then walk out feeling empowered and capable after my support, is what drove me. It's what eventually led me to become a professional lactation consultant.

Then I became a mom myself.

I breastfed both of my boys, and each experience was unique. Neither journey went the way I'd pictured. Not even close. Both experiences came with their own challenges, their own tears, their own middle-of-the-night doubts.

Here I was with a nursing background, and I still found myself Googling things at 2 am wondering if I was doing it right. That's when it really sank in: feeding a baby can be tough—really tough—for anyone. And the right support changes everything.

Postpartum is stressful.

It's lonely, it's exhausting, it can make you anxious in ways nobody warned you about. But I believe that when a mom feels truly supported through it, the effects ripple outward—to her own wellbeing, to her baby, to her whole family.

That belief is the heart of Little Gift Lactation & Feeding Support. It’s why I do this important work.
